Where Immigration meets Innovation

SFR Law Corporation was founded and is directed by an entrepreneur migrant, thus we understand the needs of those who follow their instinct and want to create a future for them and their company in the United States of America.

Our founder was previously located in the heart of Silicon Valley, and was constantly in touch with diverse startups; so we understand that not all startups are created equal. We know that the needs of each company differ depending on the type of industry, workers involved, and the dream to achieve, but the process to get your startup settled in the United States can be easy if you have the correct legal advice.

Let us guide you through the immigration process, so you can focus on what really matters to you: getting business done. We understand the stress of building a business and that the immigration process is not only “a process”, but the opportunity to plan for your future and achieve stability. So let’s get you planning while we take care of the immigration process.

Remember, SFR Law Corporation is here to guide you if you are an entrepreneur who wishes to immigrate to the United States.

EB-5 Entrepreneur/Investment Visa

The EB-5 Entrepreneur/Investor Program enables foreign nationals to obtain permanent resident status through investment in U.S. commercial enterprises

An entrepreneur or investor must be able to show that:

•The required amount of capital has been invested or is actively in the process of being invested in the new commercial enterprise;

•The investment capital was obtained through lawful means;

•The new commercial enterprise will create at least 10 full-time positions for qualifying employees; and

•The immigrant investor is or will be engaged in the management of the new commercial enterprise.

You have 2 options to go through this process: You can make an “Individual Direct Investment”, or you can invest through an “Associated Regional Center”. SFR Law Corporation will make sure that any path you decide to take, you fulfill the requirements established by USCIS and that your investment will be made only through government-approved entities.

Advantages of an Entrepreneur Visa

An Entrepreneur’s visa has more benefits than some other visas, SFR Law Corporation can help you find which ones may apply to your specific case. Some of the advantages include:

  • The process to get a green card for your family is faster for some countries (only 12–24 months).

  • The money you invest is kept in a secure escrow bank account.

  • If the visa is denied, you get your money back, except for the administrative fee.

  • You and your family are eligible for U.S. citizenship after five years.

  • You are allowed to continue your business activities in the rest of the world, as long as your primary home is in the U.S.

As an entrepreneur, you are already dealing with all your business paperwork; this visa requires many forms and deadlines to be observed, let us take care of it, so you can focus on your new enterprise.

From finding your first office location to seeking investment, you should be confident that you have the proper immigration status.
